Vector file formats are required for vinyl cutting: AI (Adobe Illustrator), CDR (CorelDRAW), EPS, SVG, or DXF. All text must be converted to outlines (curves) before sending. Raster images (JPEG, PNG) cannot be cut from — they need to be traced and converted to vector first. Signageer’s team can vectorise simple logos and text from JPEG/PNG files for ₹150–₹600 depending on complexity. WhatsApp your image and we will advise if vectorisation is feasible.

Our commercial cutting plotters can reliably cut elements down to 5mm height for text and 3mm for simple shapes. Below 5mm, letter detail and fine lines may not cut cleanly depending on font complexity. For very small intricate elements (below 3mm), laser cutting on the CO2 machine is recommended as it produces cleaner results at micro scale. The UV or latex printer prints the full-colour artwork, and the cutting plotter uses registration marks to align and cut the exact contour of the design.
